  1.                               LICENSE AGREEMENT
  2. The enclosed product LOCATE is a published work Copyright 1987, by James E. 
  3. Tarvid, author, and Logical Support, publisher, and as such is subject to the 
  4. copyright laws of the United States and certain international conventions.  
  5. All rights reserved.
  6. If you agree to the terms of this license agreement, print it, sign it and 
  7. return it to us with a check for $20.  We will sign and return it to you and 
  8. extend certain additional rights and privileges.
  9. 1.  You agree not to copy, duplicate, or distribute, any part of this product 
  10. in any form or on any media except as authorized in this agreement.
  11. 2.  You may make and distribute without charge the entire unmodified contents 
  12. of this diskette provided you label them "(C)opyright 1987, James E. Tarvid, 
  13. All rights reserved."
  14. 3.  You agree that if the diskette remains in use after an initial 30 day 
  15. evaluation period, you will pay a "use fee" of $20 per user to:
  16.     James E. Tarvid 
  17.     Route 2 Box 73 
  18.     Independence, VA 24348
  19. 4. You agree that this agreement is governed by the Laws of the Commonwealth 
  20. of Virginia and that jurisdiction for all actions is Independence, Virginia.
  21. 5.  I agree to provide support by mail and telephone, and notify you of 
  22. revisions and enhancements for an additional "support fee" of $20 per user 
  23. per year.
  24. 6.  You acknowledge that you have read the enclosed documentation, you have 
  25. used the enclosed programs, and you have determined their suitability for 
  26. your particular application.
  27. 7.  This license is effective until terminated.  You may terminate this 
  28. agreement by informing the author of your desire to do so. Your license will 
  29. also terminate if you fail to comply with any of the terms of this agreement.  
  30. Upon termination, you agree to return the original diskettes, and all copies 
  31. of the diskettes.  
  32. 8.  The parties agree that this license agreement shall constitute the 
  33. entire and exclusive agreement between the parties.
